It tells people what you want them to think about you and who you are. Dressing well can help you build an image because it says a lot about you before you even say anything. But it’s easier to say this than to do it. It’s hard to say something that seems so normal, and it’s even harder when it’s about you.
Step 1: Sort Through Your Clothing
It’s always different from what people like. That’s why yours should. You might not care about the things you liked in high school or college now. Keep your room clean and get rid of things that are taking up space so that you can add more. You want to make the most of the clothes you already have, not because you need more of them.
Make a list of all the clothes you haven’t worn in a year. If it’s less than three times, you should get rid of it. Cleaning out your room can also help you figure out what styles and traits you no longer like. You can learn more about your style this way. If not more than one, maybe just one.
Step 2: Discover Your Style
Start telling people about yourself or your attitude after you’ve cleaned out your clothes. This part is the hardest because you have to know everything about yourself. Find words that show who you are and make you feel something. This is a great place to start if you want to find your style.
Step 3: Look For Inspiration Actively
Suppose you think you’ve found a new word to describe your style; study it. Look into the word and the style that goes with it. Make a Pinterest board like I did to get ideas for what to wear. You can keep magazine cutouts and take screenshots on your phone.
I sometimes find looks I like on Instagram that I might want to try out in the future. I save these kinds of posts for later use. I think you should get a clear starting point to help you find your way. As you work on your style, it’s likely to change.
Step 4: Think About Your Body Type
To find out what looks best on you, learn about your body type. No matter what size or shape you are, you are beautiful. Wear clothes that make you feel great. A woman who is sure of herself is the best.
Step 5: Determine If Your Present Wardrobe Reflects Your Future Self
Once you’ve answered all of these questions, try to figure out what your other clothes say about you. It’s helpful to keep track of how often you wear something and if there are any new ways you can wear it in the future. Change your style and get out of your comfort zone. Would you still feel better? You want your room to show both the person you are now and the person you want to be in the future.
Step 6: Consider If Your Manner Of Life May Be An Obstacle
You might want to think about your hobbies and how you live. Take a look at your job, your hobbies, and the way you spend your daily time. Get up and move around more often, do you try? Do you need to look great when you walk to work? This will help you organize your needs into groups.
Write down everything you want to buy with your money. Choose a time when you want most of your clothes to be in your room. To be honest, my deadline never ends, but I made my needs stronger. Once I’ve bought what I need, I don’t care much about buying.
Step 7: Create Style Guidelines
Next, you need to describe it: Say a few words about your style. Think about the mood, the themes, the trends, and the shapes. What is a new style that you like and would like to try? or what styles don’t make you feel comfortable and sure of yourself? This information will help you choose where to put your money in the future.
Step 8: Make It Visible
Making a mood board is the most important thing to do. After you print everything, put it up. Make sure you can see it every day. After a while of looking at these pictures, you won’t need to because you’ll be used to how they look.
Step 9: Trying Is The Key To Discovering Your Style
When you change your style, you don’t have to do everything at once. To keep from getting too stressed out, make small steps in this direction. For more than a year, you can quickly do everything on this list. Try out different styles. You could try a new haircut and makeup style. These two things might have a big effect on your style. Try everything when you’re ready. This is how you can find out more about yourself.
Step 10: Gather Your Necessities
I could give you a list of clothes you need, but you might not like them. Spend your money on things that are important to both you and your boyfriend. Are you more drawn to a certain type of clothes or items when you go shopping? Remember that and grow from there.
Step 11: Select A Colour Palette That Compliments Your Style
It’s hard for me to do this because I always wear happy colors. I started to like a more muted color scheme with dark tones and hues over time. That’s fine; you can wear anything you want. There are no rules or right or wrong things to do here.
Step 12: Maintenance
It’s easy to forget that every year, we have to start over at point 1. It’s important to take care of what you’ve worked so hard to build. Having too many things in one place makes it hard to find what you need. This is why women always have too many clothes but nothing to wear. Getting rid of and rearranging our clothes is not a good way to show how we feel and how things have changed.
